Plastic Parts Quality – IATF 16949 Certification

Quality and environment

Quality for us means fulfilling the individual needs and expectations of our customers. Our company’s certifications reflect our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

Our goal is the continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and the quality of our plastic injection moulded parts. We focus on developing and implementing cost-effective solutions to optimise production processes. Quality is not just a slogan for us – it is a systematically managed process that includes incoming material inspection, statistical process control (SPC) and outgoing measurement of finished parts.

For all our processes, it is important that they are carried out in harmony with the environment and continuously improved. Thanks to our consistent approach and highly qualified, motivated employees, we are a successful certified company in the production of plastic parts for the automotive industry in Ostrava.

IATF 16949 Certification – Automotive Quality

The implementation of the quality management system in accordance with IATF 16949:2016 is the foundation for the continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and the fulfilment of technical and delivery requirements. The IATF 16949 standard is specific to suppliers in the automotive industry and covers requirements for quality planning, process control, machine capability, risk analysis (FMEA) and traceability of plastic parts.

Our certification is issued by an accredited certification body and regularly renewed through external audits. Customers can be confident that the Weppler Czech quality system meets the most stringent requirements of the automotive supply chain.

Environmental Policy and ISO 14001

The environmental management system ISO 14001 ensures the consistent integration of environmentally friendly processes into our plastic parts production. We regularly evaluate the environmental aspects of our production, monitor energy and material consumption, and set targets for reducing them.

The company is also certified to ISO 50001 – the standard for energy management systems. Systematic management of energy efficiency in production helps to reduce operating costs and the carbon footprint of our Ostrava plant.

Outgoing Inspection and Measurement of Plastic Parts

Every plastic injection moulded part undergoes a defined outgoing inspection. For dimensional measurement, we use 3D coordinate measuring machines and optical measuring systems, enabling fast and accurate documentation of part conformance with the customer’s drawing. The inspection plan for each part is established in accordance with IATF 16949 and specifies measurement frequency, gauges used and acceptance criteria.

Inspection results are available to customers as part of PPAP documentation (Production Part Approval Process) or in another agreed format. We regularly monitor non-conformances and analyse root causes using 8D and Ishikawa diagram methods.
